Sorry, inadvertently posted this in the S7 forum. I have an Edge...
Some background. Before the Nougat update I had added a 64G SD card to the S7 Edge. I followed the directions to force adopted storage. In my case, I allocated 75% to adopted, 25% to external.
Worked great. The phone shows:
Internal storage of XX used of 32GB
SD card XX used of 47.31GB
Portable Storage
SD card xx used of 11.92GB
So, there are 2 SD cards - one under phone storage and one under portable.
Now running Nougat - it kept the adopted.
But, when I plug into a Win 10 PC, and make sure File Transfer is the USB mode, it shows 2 drives under the Phone.
Both are the same... Both say "Card" and both are the SD internal storage (47.3 GB)...
As a side, I tried to backup the phone with Samsung Smart Switch (was going to do a factory reset) but it hangs at the transfer part (stays at 0% transferring Contacts).
I suspect this USB issue is related.
Thoughts?
