Odd glitch on 4.2.1

Anyone had their unit black out with a muted "scritcth" sound. App flashed off to black screen... power button only made the app flash quickly into view and black out again with the same odd little "scritcth".
Rebooted and it hasn't happened again... yet. Only been a few minutes.

Thoughts?

It was the social media app, SCOPE.
Just text, no sound going on... ??
And just off a full charge.
