Odd Occurrence in Chrome

While browsing the web in Chrome, my phone opened to the Play Store. I closed it, and left the site. The thing is...it's only that site, and a fairly reputable site. What is happening?

If this is relevant, nothing has been downloaded, and AVG and Malwarebytes say that I'm clean.

A glitch of some sort, perhaps. Try Settings, Storage, Cached Data, and clear the cache.
