Yep..sorry guys, one quick question.
Im on EB13 rooted. Many sprint bloatware removed.
can i go for EC05x_DXC.TAR with no issue? (no data loss option)
thank you in advanced! And sorry for noob question!
Exists any method like one click root for EC05 ??? or this is the unique. My question is because I want use odin because i change carrier and i cant do this proces again
You place this file on your computer and use Odin to install it on your device.Do I install these files in the pc, or on the phone. Im new to this. My phonesout oof ok nternal memory so I need to do this to move some crap off it to make room. Also can I use this if im on build ec05 ota alteady?
I understand your situation but you do need to root your phone to remove unwanted apps and unfortunately the only way to "unroot" is to use Odin to restore back to stock EC05, in return wiping your entire system minus the sdcard.Ok, so since im new to this ill expkain my situation. All feedback is appreciated......i cant install anything else on my epic 4g with the ota froyo ec05 cos the internal storage is full, and giving me memory issues. What id like to do is be able to uninstall alot of the apps that came on thw phone that I dont need. I also have about 20 games from gameloft that store roughly 10~25mb's each on my internal memory. I want to move some of those over to my sd card as well. IMPORTANT!..i do NOT want to wipe my phones internal memory, or anything on my sd in the process. if anyone could tell me the best way to go about this id appreciate it. Also id rather use a method thats reversible. Ex, I dont want to permanently root my phone. Im great with computers but st ill treat me as a newb as ive never done anything with android system files b4. Thanks guys/gals, ~Craig
OP on Gingerbread EE03 is recommending you use CWM 3.0.2.5, so you would need to go to complete stock EC05 and then follow the OP on Gingerbread thread. If my phone is on rooted EB13, and I was trying to go to new Gingerbread, would this rooted EC05 be stock, RFS compatible, with CWM to work?
Meaning if I Odin back to this, could I flash straight to Gingerbread EE03 from ACS?
So then how would I go about uninstalling factory apps that I normally couldnt?
If your looking to root and install CWM without the use of a computer you can check the following, from there you can flash ROMs, etc..I don't know if this has been asked. But is there any method for me to do this without connecting my phone directly to my PC. There is NO connecting my phone to the PC. I've tried all the ports, I'm not buying a new cable just for some BS that should work in the first place.
Basically, is there any way for me to put this on my SD card and do this out of CWM. Since it's not a zip file it doesn't show up, and renaming the file to .zip doesn't help. I don't care about data loss.
