Android Central Question
Hey everyone, my apologies in advance as I'm not terribly tech savy. I was trying to reinstall the stock os to my Galaxy S7 (latest update, not sure if that's Nougat?) I downloaded Odin and the correct files for my Sprint S7 (U.S.) I opened Odin, put my phone in download mode and tried to install the AP, CSC, and CP programs and I got the following message.
ve CS..
<ID:0/004> Odin engine v(ID:3.1203)..
<ID:0/004> File analysis..
<ID:0/004> SetupConnection..
<ID:0/004> Complete(Write) operation failed.
<OSM> All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)
My phone won't start up at all and tells me to use the emergency recovery mode in Smart Switch. To do so, I need the model and serial number. However, while I have the model number, I don't have the serial number. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do? Am I installing the wrong files through Odin? I've been using this page as a guide.
