Thank you. I sent that to my brother to see if he gets that stuff, he's the one that gets into this stuff.

I'm mainly doing this for the feature in picture. I'm getting a tab S8+ and have found out Verizon took that off their phones. I have it on my unlocked fold 3 and want it across the board on my other phones.

Has anyone done this and do they know by changing their Verizon variant to the unlocked this works.

Update:
I flash my unlocked s22U to Carrier firmware today used Home CSC and it didn't Factory Reset which in past it would with Odin Prince Comsey (Patch B)
Glad they got this fixed

When you do this so your unlocked is running att firmware now when next firmware update comes out will device see Ota update or will you have to flash with odin again?

I'm on March AVDC build so if all carrier on this I'll get the OTA as I used TMB firmware

I was happy I didn't have to factory reset , it always would in past when doing unlocked to carrier or carrier to unlock , I'm not sure if it's only the s22U this started or it's ok on older models

I wanted to see what difference there is now on carrier firmware since I been on unlocked for long time , the update I could of waited .
The Google message app is by ATT not google vibe and Samsung message now has Att RCS lol

Looking at the May update thread looks like Verizon, Att on AVDC build so OtA will come next round

Well he did it, but not sure it worked. It went into a boot load, forced a FDR, but the Verizon logo still comes up. He has it at his house and doesn't have my Google password so he wasn't able to complete setup. We are assuming the Verizon logo shouldn't be loading up if we put unlocked firmware on it.

You were flashing from Verizon carrier firmware to get on unlocked firmware? Unlocked doesn't have any carrier start up screen.

By the way once unlocked firmware gets May update I'm going back to it , Att with Google messages isn't by vibe it's by ATT and can't get chats working and from what I gathered it's going be long time before this is fixed they eventually might go with Google vibe messages and rightfully so (

I'm going to stay with unlocked firmware on mine, since I don't want the Verizon bloatware, and I like vibe messages and Samsung spam blocker.

Does ATT block Find My Mobile? That's one app I really like that Verizon blocks. So that's another reason why I like unlocked.

We were trying to put unlocked firmware on Verizon phone. We still have the Verizon logo after FDR
