[Odin] Froyo leaked packaged custom ROMs w/root and clockwork **UPDATED**3/25

Which file?

DroidXcon,

Which of these two files should I use if I want the Samsung widgets back?

EB01_DXC.tar
EB01DB__DXC.tar

What is the main difference between them? Do they both wipe data?

Robin

Do the Odin Froyo packages automatically wipe data & cache? Or should I wipe data & cache manually before I flash from stock EA28? Thanks!

Also, if I want to go to a superclean ROM from one of the stock packages , can I use Odin to flash it or do I need to go through CWM?

no its good, stay where you are at but i have decided not post 2.7 as all it is, is 2 apps that are changed, i will wait till 2.8 when its completely edify compatible

Will do.

Dragon Age until plumber gets here. Need to finish Awakenings before wife gets me DA2. If you want to throw something my way to test, send a pm so I don't have to get off the couch the PC until after I read the email.

Again.....great job and many thanks to the develpors on this latest update! Flashed 2.6 non voodoo and running great. Also have great battery use too! 6 hours of medium use....and still have 75% left. For me thats phenomonal.

Yes unless otherwise started it wipes both.....you can use odin to go to super clean

noob question... i installed the Debloated/Deodexed EB01 w/ clockwork recovery

Where do i find the clockwork recovery mod? its included in this build, no? If i download clockwork from the market, it tells me i must install clockworkrecoverymod, i thought this is already part of the build???....confused

Can I go straight to a superclean package from a stock EA28 or do I need to put one of the stock froyo EB01 or the EB01DB packages on first?

Success!

SUCCESS!

I flashed to EB01_DXC.tar, which is the Froyo 2.2 stock version. I have my Samsung widgets back! I am a happy camper! Then I used Bloat Freezer to zap (well hide actually) a lot of the Verizon apps, the ones I didn't want. So now I have the best of both worlds!

Thanks everyone for the help and advice! (Plus I am no longer afraid to flash)!

I think I got it. But at the end it said success 1/failed 1. Did I mess it up?

it messed up not you ,, please try the following,

donwload and install the drivers from step #1

disable any anti virus

if you are using a laptop make sure its plugged into the wall

Use USB ports in the back of the computer...if you already are switch to another one

the battery should be out THE ENTIRE TIME

put it in download mode and try again

also please look at the visual instructions in post 3

DXC and standupdad,
Ok so I think I got it. It was the digiclock widget that was causing the problem with the SoD. Once removed I haven't had a problem....yet
Just FYI and thanks again for your help in trying to get this working

I didn't disable the anti-virus. Thanks for all of your help. It was relatively easy. I really found the visual of flashing with ODIN in post 3 to be the most beneficial. Thanks again!!!
