No,, leave it unchecked
Keep trying different USB ports,,, and also make sure you disabled your antivirus since i asked you to restart the computer
and although i really always strongly suggest leaving the battery out, try a couple more times, if it doesnt work try doing it with the battery in

im just going to try one of the other downloads i don't have antivirus, it ran out and its already been removed, so my only option i guess is to go with one of the others, even if its buggy id rather have a buggy phone than none at all, and if that doesn't work im pretty much screwed

You will have to find a PC tomorrow and try from a desktop

Okay, I went into browser settings and tried both "always on" and "on demand" but I still can't get the videos at footytube.com or footyroom.com to work.

Do I have to restart phone after changing that setting?

No, it hadn't. I went and got flash 10.1 and now some of the flash items do show up like the graph but the video still won't play. They work for you? For example, this one: http://www.footytube.com/video/inter-milan-bayern-munchen-feb23-74228

Actually, a video from rutube is working, but that dailymotion one isn't. So wow, at least some are working, nice!

Yeah, the rotary, aosp, and epic? I like all of them. Not sure which one to use. Maybe the rotary or aosp since they have the sound off function. Great stuff.

This depends on whether or not you're loading the whole thing with EB01SC24_DXC.tar. After loading this version (notice that there is not an x after the 24), you'll get a wipe of your phone.

Loading EB01SC24x_DXC.tar (notice that there IS an x after the 24) keeps all apps and stuff installed on your phone without the wipe. I know, because I tested with this version myself. I was at SC 2.3 when I updated with the EB01SC24x_DXC.tar. Everything worked, all apps installed when I was on 2.3 were still working, etc. The only issue I had was a text issue that I carried over from a pre SC 2.3 installation.

That said, currently still running SC 2.4 without an issue. But to be honest, personally I'm a fan of full wipe and starting over since I use Titanium Pro.
