[ODIN] Official Froyo ED01 packaged custom ROMs w/Root - Updated 06/12/11

Re: [ODIN] Official Froyo ED01 packaged custom ROMs w/Root - Upda

Same thing is happening to me, I may have to start over from scratch.
Helllo....I had the same exact problem awhile back. Id turn the phone off to charge and then Id get the grey battery symbol with the progression symbol in the middle. It never turned green and it would require a battery pull to start the phone. After alot of posts, JaeKar recommended that I change the kernel to Comavolt. Once I did that, the battery would charge with the phone off. Goodluck, that should straighten things out. Just ,make sure you install the correct Comavolt kernel for the CWM you are using. If you need help with changing the kernel, there is a most excellent tutorial by SheepdogElite on first time rooting which as you go through this sticky, you will see how to change the kernel....

Hi all. I've been experiencing an odd issue where from time to time my home screen is blank and it takes about 20-30 seconds (feels like forever) for the icons to appear. This doesn't seem to be a resource issue as I use ATK on aggressive.

Has anyone experienced this and/or have a suggested fix?

Thanks.

Yes, get rid of ATK. ATK forces the Android operating system to work in a way it was not meant to. The Android OS is designed to multitask and will close apps and processes that need to be closed, and will leave apps or at least parts of apps running in the background if they are needed in order for something else to run properly and efficiently. Get rid of the ATK and you will eventually see a marked improvement.

Thanks. I removed ATK but that didn't seem to fix it. I removed a few more apps as well and it seems to be running better now.

I appreciate the help and info about ATK.

I'm looking to update my stock DI01 with ED01DB_DO_SHARK.tar via ODIN. What can I use to backup my data? And what data is all backed up? Sorry for the newbie question.

Titanium backup is the most widely used. Its free on the market. Also, if you do a search on YouTube (that's what I did when I first started using it) tjere are some great video tutorials on it.

Good luck

Yeah, not sure how you could have lost CWM considering Comm ROM includes CWM and a custom kernel. Try flashing this latest CWM through ODIN and see if that helps:

I was wondering if CR 2.0 was MTD based or BML based?

Thanks
