Off-contract price drop?

Based on previous phones, when could one expect to see the RAZR come down from its current $650 price? Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide.

I have never seen a retail price drop on a phone. TRY EBAY and even there might pay more if not careful

I've seen it rarely (like once or twice), and it was always long after the device was a top selling device (like 9 months).

most likely will not drop full retail price until it is close to EOL. Plus that is only a rare thing maybe 2 times I have seen that happen.

Devices tend to drop in (retail) price about 6 months after launch, depending on the type of device.

If its a feature phone, there isn't much changing in that realm, so they usually stick it out for a while longer.

Smartphones, on the other hand, are evolving pretty darn quick so its possible that you could see it take a price drop in 5-6 months. Popularity will really be the big determination in price drop, so watch for the popularity of new devices in about 2 more months and the RAZR might drop a bit.
