I know this thread isn't about the Optimus V, but let me explain. My girlfriend has the Optimus V, and she did have Revolution Red on it, that is until tonight when she told me she was bored with it, so I changed it to AOSP 2.3.4 CM7. I must say, it is lightning fast, so much faster than 2.3.3 CM7 that I have on my Optimus S. Some of the apps are updated, the DSP manager is updated, and did I mention it's really effing fast? So the reason for this thread, is there a way this ROM can be ported to the Optimus S?
Off Topic 2.3.4 for Optimus V anybody seen this?

We're using it right now. The 2.3.3 thread is linked to the newest version of the Optimus V ROM. Just vice it a flash and use the file in my signature. 
Is it in Zefie's Thread for 2.3.3? Or could you send me the link? I'm super excited now lol. Thanks for the quick response btw.
I found it, it's way awesome. Thank you for your help, and sorry I started a new thread. I just had no idea that it could be used on the Optimus S, but I have it now!!!! Hellz Yeah!
I do believe you'll find the aospcmod rom in the thread entitled, "[ROM] aospCMod..." It's pretty well hidden away, as of now, 5 threads from the top on the first page. Good luck and godspeed.
Way snappier, but MMS doesn't work
Install GoSMS pro for free, it will ask if you want it to take over mms because it detects if the stock app is present.
ive been using google voice to handle my texts. works great and more of a stock feel than the other apps.
