Update. I just recieved my shipment and tracking numbers. Went to UPS and verified it. This dumb thing might be on a truck from GA. I'll have to wait until Friday. I'm just really hoping it is not the old version.

I hear that - I'm just too darn impulsive! I figure if anything, Office Depot has this 14 day return policy - if it looks like the 64 might actually ship on that date, I suppose I can always return the 32 - at the very least, I'm sure I'll be able to get at least most of my money back by selling it on eBay or something...

I'm curious, for when you finally get your tablet from OD, how is wifi performance? Obviously, you can't answer this now, unless someone has gotten theirs from office depot, but when someone finally does, could you review the performance of wifi? I am interested if there are any problems.

Well, I finally got my amazon confirmation of shipping, like everyone else it's end of Jan to Feb. So I am glad that I tried this option, If I can get really lucky I'll hopefully hear by tomorrow that they shipped it...fingers crossed...
Spike: I've been reading from those that have it on xda forums and it seems like it is in general a little weaker than the first generation but they seemed to of been talking about a small enough amount that would only be noticeable in a direct test. Alot of people I've seen on there so far (barring one) seem to really like it. For me I'm never more than 20-25 feet from my router and that shouldn't be a problem in any case. Heck I tested my Droid X using speed test and I only got 3-4mbps where I get 16 on my laptop. What's up with that? It's speed are acceptable, albeit not the greatest but if it's at least double that it should work fine for me anyway.

My order status just updated to "shipped" but I have no tracking number or carrier info. This leads weight to the assumption that it will be delivered by a OD van. Unfortunately, this is a present to my wife and I'm afraid it is going to spoil the surprise since it probably won't be in a shipping box.

Update, I have a tracking number from UPS that says it is going to be at my house tomorrow. Here is what I don't understand...my credit card has still not been charged from Office Depot. Could this be a gift from them? Or what is going to be delivered to my home? Stay tuned.
My card hasn't been charged either. Earlier this week I bought a TF101 from Amazon when I gave up hope of getting a TF201 by Christmas, and they did the same thing. I got a shipping confirmation one day and they charged the CC the next.

Ordered Mine yesterday, couldn't resist when it said delivery estimate was 12/23. But now when I check the status, it says Delivery Estimate: Pending. I hope to get it before 12/25, but it's looking unlikely. We'll see what happens.

Odd, still no charge on my CC, and UPS says the package is about 15 miles down the road in the warehouse awaiting delivery tomorrow.
It says waiting backordered items :| If that doesn't change by 7 am tomorrow I'm going to go to Gamestop & try my luck when they open.
Related to charging on my credit card. This is really strange. I am suppose to get delivery today between 2:15 and 6:15, yet still no charge shows up. As a side note, Best Buy just sent me confirmation that they are in the process of sending my order, pending, 1-2 days. They now will NOT let me cancel it. Looks like I may have 2 of them to see which one works better and return the other.
Me too. Just checked my statement online and there isn't a charge for my OD order, which is on the truck for delivery today. Maybe since the TFPs are so new they haven't had time to enter it in their system for proper biling? I still have my BB orders open just in case. When did you place your BB orders?
