Holy crap speedtest now shows good increase in wi-fi speed. Sitting next to the router I get about 15Mbps, up from 12Mbps before the update.
So, many are reporting that they have a 'better' WiFi signal, but has anyone noticed any difference in their WiFi range and/or speeds?

You're NOT getting a stronger signal. HTC says the update fixes the WiFi reporting issue. In other words, they just display more bars for any given signal strength.
edit: some people seem to feel differently, but until someone does a before and after test that looks at actual signal strength, not bars on the display, this seems to be up in the air.

I just noticed a different "Answer" screen.... Before it was swipe down to answer and swipe up to decline... Now I get a Green "Answer" and red "Decline" button side by side (Which at first confused me after 3 weeks swiping down or up but I like it much better)
I want to know the same thing. There has been too many mixed reports so far.. So if you really use your tether a lot, you may want to wait.
I don't care what HTC says, I am getting a stronger signal this has been proven by wifi analyzer and speedtests. Same spot post-update I get faster speeds and signal is less "jumpy" when testing.

I am most definitely getting a better signal at my desk, 10-12dbm better than what it was before according to Wifi Analyzer. I'm thinking they did a driver rewrite and fixed multiple bugs, including the reporting one.

What mixed reports? Read through this topic and you will have your answer, it has to have been said at least 20 times now, i know ive said it at least 3 and wont be saying it again.

So after a call to CS and a trip to a sprint store the results are in. I am screwed. The update bricked me and there are no EVO's in the area to replace it with and they could not reflash it. Thanks Sprint, great foresight. There must be a planned failure rate for this update but not having the stock in stores to correct it is really unforgivable. Now I am out of an expensive phone by no fault of my own and now "on the list" (on a sticky note no less) , but I have been "bumped to the top" for a new EVO. Thanks again Sprint!

Have you pulled the battery? If not, yank it out and wait a few minutes, then see what happens.
Here is what I have noticed since the update....
Pros :
1) Better scrolling.
Cons :
1) Accellerometer works sporadically if at all.
2) Boot time is quite a bit longer.
