Official "Complain about not getting KitKat" thread

I already was wondering when we were getting the 4.3 improvements that are starting to roll out on the carriers. Then the announcement came out today that 4.4 was ready, but no specific mention of the Google Edition platform getting it.

Anyone else feeling like Google's not really living up to their promise of getting us the latest and greatest first?

Woa. They've been very good at getting us updates 15 days or less from the time the Nexus devices get them. I'm not sure where that dissatisfaction is coming from. I've been very impressed so far. Let Google get the update out to the Nexus devices (non 5 of course) and then start counting days. I'm fairly sure it won't take longer than 15.

I received the 4.3 update six days after it was announced by Google. I've had Nexus devices that took longer than that. I think that Google's been handling the Google Editions very well.
