I have 6.1.0 RC2 and although Adobe Flash 10.1 shows in Android Market, it will not download. Am I doing something wrong?

I also noticed that there is RC3 for other devices, and they mention ways to install Adobe Flash. Is that possible with my current set up? Is there an RC3 on the way for the Evo?

I haven't had any flash problems. I don't remember if it was just thrown in with my titanium backup or if I specifically downloaded it from the market... Good luck with that. SOMEONE here has to know what's going on. You did check your settings within the browser to make certain that it's enabled, right (yes, I know installation is a different problem... just checking)?

Try clearing your market cache and re-installing from market.

To clarify for the next poor soul, I went to settings/applications/market and then hit clear cache AND clear data before Adobe Flash would install from the Market.

I tried to only clear the cache and it would not work. You must clear both.

I tried flashing the RC2 update yesterday morning. I ran into some issues with my device just looping the CM boot logo (with the android and circle arrow)...it wouldn't get to the point where the swirling fireworks or whatever would go around the CM logo...it just kept doing the CM logo entrance, over and over. I pulled the battery, re-booted into recovery, and restored back to my backup (CM 6.1 RC1). Tonight I realized I haven't received a text message since before trying to update to RC2.

I thought I'd do a factory reset and wipe data/cache and try updating to RC2 again, hoping this would fix the issue (I've read that if the internal storage of the phone gets near full, texts may stop coming in), but having sent test text messages to myself from Google Voice as well as asking friends to send me texts from their phones, I still am not receiving any.

Help?

Yea. Just Download the ruu and run it on your computer and follow the instructions. You will be unrooted and back to stock

It doesn't happen all the time, but about 2 times a week.

I tried flashing "Frost" last night and the transitions changed, but none of the icons, dock, etc. I had wiped completely, flashed CM, booted up and then wiped davlik cache and flashed the theme and it didn't seem to work. Are you flashing CM and the them together?

i flashed 6.1 last night and think i will flash back to Myns for a while. I keeps having little bugs issues in CM.


Some of my contacts did not carry over for some reason, and i manually add them.... then if i restart the phone they are no longer there. And despite the settings being enabled to ALWAYS SHOW music controls when phone is locked, i can not get them to show ever. And my battery dies very very quickly even though I lowered any possible settings. Also I can not seem to send any MMS picture messages.

i do love all the options and settings they made available to you though.. i wish i could keep using this, but for now I can't =(

I have been using cyanogen since june. Mostly all nightlies. I have never been able to send more than a one page text message. It just locks up for like ten minutes. Does anyone else have this problem? Anyone found a fix?
