[Official] Cyanogen Mod 7 Nightly thread

so if i run this on my phone, will i lose 4g? i remember reading somewhere that wimax keys were not in asop roms.

sorry, one more noob question, but after flashing cm7, do i then immediatley flash GApps?

Is there an add on to tell the battery percentage, or do I have to look for a lame widget from the market?

Just go to menu>settings>cyanogen mod settings>interface>status bar tweaks and enable battery percentage and voila!

Is anyone else having problems with #55? Every time it sends be into a boot loop.

Edit: if your having problems with rebooted on 55 or 7.0.2 like me, flash x99 or scary kernel and it should fix the issue.

I was running 7.0.3.1, now running nightly #96, both seem afflicted with the same issue.

If you have 'Auto-Sync' enabled (under accounts & sync), the phone would not ring. Callers were sent immediately to VM.

I disabled 'Background Data' and 'Auto-Sync'. Dialed my phone, it rang.

Enabled Background Data, dialed my phone and it rang.

Enabled Autosync, dialed my phone - straight to voicemail.

Left it disabled for a few minutes, then reenabled it, now calls ring through.

Just tried flashing #110 and the phone hangs on boot - all I get is the splash screen. Tried twice using ROM Manager. First time i backed up and wiped dalvik, hung, restored nandroid. Tried again this time wiping data/cache/dalvik. Same issue. Anyone successfully flash #110?

I just read the comments on ROM manager and other people are reporting the same thing.

Good to know. I'll try 109 or wait for 111.

Looks like a new RC version is out. Looking at the forum, it's still listed under experimental with the nightlies instead of the stable releases. Anyone know if the Release Candidate would be considered more complete/stable than a nightly or stable version?

The release candidate is considered a little more stable than a Nightlies. The nighltlies that follow the rc are based off of that particular rc.

Well, no matter what I try, I simply cannot get anything other than the latest stable release to flash and run on this phone. Tried a couple nightlies, and the latest RC and nightly #113 today, it will flash and either A) hang at the boot animation, or B) boot all the way up then immediately restart and loop like this. Once I got it to run stable enough to get as far as the CPU settings in the CM settings to see if the clockspeed was the problem, but it rebooted before I could change anything.

I've tried wiping cache, system, dalvik. No luck. Flashing back to my Stable nandroid lets the phone run fine, even upwards of 1.5ghz on x99 kernel.

Thoughts?
