Try Miui if you switch. Its unlike any other rom you've seen. And very fast.

I'll have to disagree. Its to reminiscent of the iphone and lacks too much to be an everyday Rom... for me at least. I will say I do prefer their music player; however I'll stick with CM6 until CM7's GPS issues are resolved! CM7 FTW hands down!

Consensus on cyanogen forum and xda is that 16 broke a lot of stuff. 17 came out soon after and is getting positive feedback, though.

Me, I've been sitting on build 11 which seems very solid (except gps of course). I follow the cmsrc twitter feed and there haven't been any commits since #11 that tempt me to update and risk breaking something that's working pretty well.

Cyanogen has been on vacation which I presume slowed any big changes; he's back and I expect we'll see a flashworthy update soon.

Sorry I have been in another dimension ever since I decided to start playing with my evo. And to think on Optimus s it was just one rom!

I have been all over CM7EX9lite and not lite-the CM6 alpha wimax 2,3 kernal 34,35- nightly 12,14,15 and 17.

So if noobs ask questions about why they are boot loop ask them if they toggled signature on recovery! I know, I know. And it's true if you read enough you will find all answers. It can be tedious with close to 300 pages to go through and a crappy forum search (see:4g,004, etc.)

I am running nightly 17. So it just seems so far that with 004 everything except gps, wimax, and I am guessing HDMI?

I know gps is out cause i tested by typing walmart and it showed them in OK!

So anyone know anything about 4g dev? Is there anyway to get into testing it on 004? I know how to run logcat and if you guys have any ideas let me know.

oh also after changing themes in the themes app, I lost the paginator dots on the bottom. I'm sure everyone has seen this. ADW settings. restart, reset don't change it. Gonna dl r2 launcher and check difference.

yeah its gone.

data wipe didn't fix. uninstall reinstall?

we shall see!

There should be a option in adw dock options for the dots I believe.
