[Official] CyanogenMod 7 discussion

I went back to cm6, cm7 is just too unstable right now. My launcher crashed a couple of times and over all the phone is just as snappy as it is with cm6.

I have had problems with my phone being rebooted at random moments alot just never thought of it as a big deal and today for the first time my phone was acting really slow and i tried to turn off the screen it did it realllllyy slow i freaked out for 5 minutes :P but #36 works grrreat for me :D

Been running 20 here. Only real issue is Wifi strangeness.

Decided to flash the lastest last night, #37. Didn't wipe or anthing.

After flashing, I was getting random reboots. Just went back to 20 and called it a night. Probably would have been better to wipe.

I always wipe when I update. I know some say you don't have to, but I do anyways. So far I haven't had any reboots. (knock on wood):):)

Same problems here, constant rebooting (on 36 and 37). Was about to downgrade back to 35 when I tried turning off the wifi. Don't know if that was the prob, but hasn't rebooted on it's own in the last 5 hours (was like every 5 minutes before).

lWas anybody else having wifi issues, my connection sometimes drops for no reason.

Mine did at first but then I realize wifi was set to sleep when my phone did. I just changed it to never and had no problems since.

On the latest and one just before, do not turn off wifi from the notification bar. On mine it goes into some strange herky-jerky unusable mode and I have to reboot.

It only did that to me the first time I shut it off.

Just found out there is a limited roll out of 4g in my area. Its nothing I have cared about, but now I'm excited to tinker. I'm confused about how it gets applied to CM7. I would like to keep rockin' nightlies. Is it a simple kernal flash or do I need to get it baked into a ROM.

I have the same question.. So far from what I read you can only get it on nightly #24 and it's a separate flash that goes over the nightly... I hope im wrong though cause I would like to use my 4G again

i haven't had any problems with build #36 until recently. It keeps popping up that google talk authentication failed and for some reason i cannot access the market. It says loading then crashes back to the home screen. I don't even have google talk installed but for some reason that doesn't matter?
