[Official] CyanogenMod 7 discussion

1 - Go to the Market and download the app: MSL Reader
2 - Use this app to get your MSL # (mine was six digits)
2 - Flash to any Sense ROM
3 - Launch phone dialer and dial ##GPSCLRX# (##4772579#)
4 - Enter the MSL Number from above
5 - Your phone will automatically reboot in 10 seconds
6 - Still in Sense, go to maps and let it lock. Go into recovery.
7 - Flash CM7
7 - Hopefully this fixed your GPS!

This seems to have fixed my GPS issues on CM7 RC2. Before I couldn't pick up any satellites, I now pick up 9. I'll try it out driving tonight but it appears to have done the trick.

Just flashed CM7 RC2 last night and I LOVE it. ha. The only thing i miss is the Sense Weather Clock (don't like BW or FW). No major bugs...well i've only found one:

A voicemail icon keeps popping up in my notification bar telling me to call voicemail...I call it and it says "The feature code you entered is not valid." It goes away and then pops up back 5 minutes later. How can I make this go away? I use Google Voice for voicemail.

And I thought CM7 was suppose to get better Quadrant scores...I get the same exact scores.

Also, is there a way I can get the Sense Camera apk on CM7?

Don't ignore me :)

Tonay, something similar happened to me this weekend. Thankfully, I was able to boot in Recovery by pulling the battery and then doing a Nandroid restore.

I can confirm. I flashed CM7 for my friend's Inspire, and the GPS worked.

Go with latest nightly. Cyanogen says RC2 had some bugs and a lot of commits went it starting yesterday.

Yea man, i'd just try flashing one of the nightlies that came out after RC2, if that works then you'll know for sure it had something to do with the RC2 build.
