Does Build #23 have the HDMI kernel in it?

It should, yes. But I can't say for sure. I'm going to load it up but I don't yet have my cable to test it.

Just tried #23 without the custom kernel to see if it was now built in. Here is what happen.

TV recognized the connection but I got cable disconnected no matter what I tried.

Flashed the hdmi kernel and it worked fine.

It maybe my phone acting up but someone else might have better luck.

I just pulled down an update for the app that might help. I won't have my cable until next week so I can't test anything until then.

Which kernel did you use cause I'm having the same problem and my cable was working just fine b4 when I was on the beta. Now I updated the Rom and I'm using the HDMwIn app from the store and it just says cable unplugged or not detected.

I have the same problem with HDWIN app....with the FULLHDMI app that immediately worked but it currently does not support 720P other than that its cool to see my HDMI port working as it was marketed.

When you get a cable not dectected you have to reboot. Shinzul is aware of it.

That I tried first. I thought a reboot would work but it didn't. When I get more time this evening I'm going to play with it some more to see if I can get it working

I have build #23. I guess I'll find out myself and let you know.

Have you looked under call settings to see if vibrate every 45 seconds is on? This lets it vibrate every 45 seconds while making an out going call.

Your right, I get the same thing. Cable unplugged. I just put the working kernel I have for it till something comes out for it.

As it is a very nice feature, it isn't a must have for me. I'll stay with the kernel that is letting it work but hopefully they can get it up and running without any issues in the future.

Its still an incredible job.

he wants to run faster i was gonna have him grab setcpu for that and he wants a keyboard that IS NOT swype he wants a tap to talk with active spell check and im looking for good stable themes darker themes to show him not sure if it has a theme on it i need to get it in my hands

Over on the XDA Developers forum for the Evo (development section ), you may wish to review Kings Ultra Unleashed RC2 & RC3. Combined with setcpu and you have the all in one package. (dark theme). The download also has recommend kernels already included and the OP instructs how to flash.

I feel ya. Im with ya. I have seen that Netarchy released his 4.3.4 kernel that has support for the HDMI and I'm reading its working.
