This isn't a nightly...so does this require a full wipe and flash? or can i just flash over what I'm running now (nightly #31)?

Just wipe cache and dalvik like you would before flashing a nightly.

Thats good news. I had the same question. I thought I had to do a full Data wipe. Thanks BigRick. I'll give it a try cause I really didnt have any luck with the RC1 version and never bothered with RC2. Anything new in this version you see so far?

I did the same as you. Had problems with RC1 and didn't try RC2 because of it. I'm giving RC3 a try and so far no problems, but it is still early.

Only thing I have found is there are some wallpapers missing, but that is all I can find as of now.

Thanks....Maybe I'll wait a day or two to read other reports. Thanks for getting back.

Now my problem with my gps is that on CM 6 and the stock rom it would work fine. but since CM7 my gps has not been working. my apps would either report me far away from where I am or not even pick it up. Even google maps ask for me to turn wifi which for some odd reason fixes this just for this app.would the steps above work for this as well?

With just 3g on it shows me a mile from where I am, but I always leave wifi on so that is why I never used the workaround. I would think that method would work for you

Been on RC3 since it was posted on cyanogen's mirror site, seems to be running flawlessly for me, have not noticed any issues what so ever, all major hang ups from previous versions seem to have been fixed.... needless to say, it is still early though

Which kernel are you using?

Is there any particular reason why my .wma music files are no longer playing after flashing the new 7.00-RC@-Supersonic?

the droid OS doesn't recognize .wma files. you have to manually change the extention to .mp3. sucks when a rom converts all your music to .wma.

valuable lesson learned. backup your music on pc so you can copy and paste next time.

So from the looks of things RC3 is pretty good. What's new on it and should i flash that or just go straight to #32?

I am currently on 31 and noticed last night that 4g would drop as soon as I tried to use wi-fi hotspot. Anyone else seeing this issue? If not what build are you on rc3 or 32?

I can confirm that on nightly 32 that is not a problem. Might want to flash 32
