[Official] CyanogenMod 7 discussion

I have an issue where I can't download new voicemails to my evo. I am using cyanogenmod 7, and disabled google voice, because I couldn't get it to work with my sprint number to download messages.

I found the sprint VV apk online and it installed fine, but it keeps saying to try again to download new voicemails, and the only way to check is to manually call my own number. Is there a way to fix this?

Also, youtube video jumps around every now and then.

CM7 final and WIFI ("obtaining IP address")

I have tried CM several times, but was never sure what the attraction was. With CM 7, I tried again coming from Myn's Warm 2.2 rls 5. I started seeing the attraction, except for wifi. It seems to connect for awhile and then drops the connection and reverts to "obtaining IP address." I have had no wifi issues with any other roms. I am running CM 7 final on my EVO. I could see myself using this as my daily driver except for this issue, as I use wifi about 90% of the time. I have wifi sleep policy set to "never." Any ideas?

I've never encountered that particular problem with final. Have you tried all of the basic troubleshooting steps?

teejay89, thanks for the reply. I briefly looked at the link. Is there something in there concerning my problem without having to read thru 82 pages?

Like what?

I tried reinstalling (Caulkin's format all, wiped factory reset, cache, DC).
stop wifi, restart wifi.

Wipe cache and dalvik. Removing / re-adding the connection. Make sure you don't have 4G on at the same time. Backup and do a fresh flash and see if it works with no additional programs.

Furthermore, if you can't get it fixed, submit a bug to the CM team so they can fix it! :)

Thanks. I have done all those except delete and re-add the connection. I will give that a try.

Looks like the big news reagrding leak for Gingerbread Supersonic from HTC hasn't hit this forum. Link: [LEAK][TEST] SuperSonic_GB_Sprint_WWE_4.12.651.1 - xda-developers. Great news for CM7...no.? Anyways, nightly#40 wouldn't install for me. It aborted install with errors. Anyone else have this problem.?

there's a thread started on this. soon as it was leaked. i hit the xda sight from this forum. i see that thread has been locked for 2 days now from any further replies.
