[Official] CyanogenMod 7 discussion

No, Rock Player doesn't work, but MPlayer does. It's not the best quality when compared to Rock Player, and a little choppy at times, but it will get us by until either Rock Player has an update or CM7 supports it.

MPlayer for Android

Anyone having problems with the new Android Market not installing apps to their device? Worked great the first day, but it is no longer working for me on CM7 #23 or CM7 #24.

I've had no problems but I've moved to build #25 and I've yet to try it.

Actually, I started at #23 and find that the market works better than on any ROM I've tried yet. Amazing speed and none of the app updates get stuck.

Is anyone having trouble with the wifi-tether on Build#25. When I start mine it comes up saying loaded with errors and wont work. And my favorite workout app jefit workout will crash every time on me now.

Should I just reload build #25 or goback to #23, 23 didnt give any problems.

Wifi tether works fine on #25 for me. Maybe it's time to wipe and clean install.

I always back up apps and data... but also do a nandroid first in case you screw something up before flashing your ROM and wiping your data. Then you can always go back.

Restore after flashing... you'll want to go to the Market and install Titanium first, of course, and then do a batch restore of your apps and data (deselecting the stuff you don't want over-written that you can simply redo, like settings and such). If you haven't purchased Titanium, you'll get prompted before each app installs. Paid version installs everything without constantly prompting... which is why I paid.

False alarm. Rock Player works, but you need to uninstall and reinstall either from the market or from the Rockplayer website.

I have the paid version already thanks. I hope I dont have to wipe my data everytime a new build comes out. I had #23 everything was great, same with #24, but #25 did something. I just wipe the cache & delvik. I hope this works this time.

I started from #23, then added 24 and 25 without wiping. All is fine here. I've had a couple of issues that have all been resolved either by tweaking settings (new ones I wasn't aware of) or by uninstalling and reinstalling an app.
