My vibrate profile does not work with the RCs. I had the Nightly from 3-26 and it would vibrate when I received a text or call. I loaded RC3 and it stopped working, but I thought with all the bug fixes with RC4 it would fix it. I loaded 4 last night and still no vibrate. Any ideas?

Flashed RC4 tonight. Calkulin's format all first, then Gapps. I'm liking RC4 so far. My GPS works just fine, didn't have to go through any hullabuloo to get it working.

I've tried everything form the RC4 to the nightlys and following the boot loop steps on Cyanogen's site, but my Evo is still looping at 2-4 seconds after the Cyanogen(mod)7 screen. 6.1.2 works perfect, but I haven't been able to use 7 at all yet - very frustrating!

I was having the long SMS not sent bug with rc2, but haven't tried rc4 yet. Will update when I do.

There's a setting to span messages somewhere in the Messaging app, I think...

Im trying out the Tiamat kernel 3.3.4 and Im on build #32. Should I still be using Setcpu with smartass scaling with no profiles or should I just use the built in governor in cyanogen that I just found out about, lol?

Ive heard that its safer to use the built in governor...just watch out for dragons ahead!

I've been using Setcpu for awhile now and never had any problems. I only had two profiles made which were 9screen off and charging) Ive been reading you really dont need profiles while scaling smartass. is that true?

Do you use the built in governor and what are your settings if you dont mind me asking, thanks.

Continued to have the 3G/4G issue so I switched to a different GB rom. Pretty happy, but I sure wish CM7 would work just a bit better.

What "3G/4G" issues are you having? I must've missed it...

Anyone else tried to use Tango on this rom? Everything works I guess but my camera inverts my image on the receivers phone.

experience a lot of data drop out - it does not matter if 4g is enabled, occasionally I cannot get any data. I looked in the menu for phone info to reset prl but it is no longer there, or at least I cannot find it.

Having to reboot several times per day to get data service back. Is this part of CM7 or a different problem?

PRL and Profile aren't updatable on AOSP ROMs, unfortunately. You have to flash back to a Sense ROM to do it.

As far as data dropout, I've not experienced that except in low signal areas but it comes back when available without reboot.

Is there a way to get the Swype keyboard to work in CM7? It is loaded but will not function, it simply beeps, does not do anything.

I haven't tried it on CM7 but I've been told it installs and runs fine with minor issues. You may try clearing Swype's data and, if that doesn't work, re-installing.

Each time I lose data, I can switch to airplane mode and back and that works well. Or wait a few seconds.

I love CM7. My phone is now perfect.

I'm not sure if this a CM7 issue but it started on nightly 28 (not new to nightlies). It has been persistent ever sence. currently on 32. Every time I get a gmail the icon flashes red, Don't know what that means but I also don't get 40-50% of my gmail on my phone. It will show 10 emails in the inbox for any given account (I have 3 gmail accounts synced to my phone) but only 5-6 will actually display in my phone inbox. all emails are viewable from browser.

Any ideas?

When I flashed CM7 I TB restored the Swype installer, not the keyboard itself. After running the installer Swype works perfectly for me.

On 6.12 I had the option of disabling the "bars" signal strength and just showing the dBm reading, which I prefer. I can't seem to find this setting, where is it in 7?
