To jump the gun and answer the question, there shouldn't be any reason for you to have problems moving up. Just wiping the two caches is all you need. The stables are still 2.3.3.

The reson why I was asking is I tried it yesterday and ran in to a big mess. Thank God I made a nand backup:) After I flashed 7.0.3.1 to my phone it went crazy, (e.g. Froze up, random reboot.) When I plug my phone into the computer to take a look at my SD Card everything was renamed and most folders had funny little characters next to them like, ?,*,@,#........pretty weird right? Then It gets worse. Thinking everything was fine i found out I could only make phone calls but not receive them, they were going straight to my google voice mail for the WHOLE DAY. So, since I have backups of everything I formatted my 16gb class 10 sd card just to be safe, wiped data and went back to my CM 7.0.2.1. Thats why I was asking if it would be safe. I wounder what these little characters next to my folders were and how they got there?

Quick question. When you flashed 7.0.3.1, were you using a nightly from 2.3.4?

I ask because I seen on cyanogen's tweeter that if you flashed that on top of the latest nightly then things could act up. I did just that but didn't see anything at first. Only after a few minutes is when I seen him say not too. I just nand backed to #62. I wanted to keep 2.3.4 for video chat. Of course that was before I seen the Google talk that would allow video on 2.3.3.

No. I was on the stable build 7.0.2.1 since the first day it came out.

I might just give it another go. Also, I love this new SD I got, sweet.

I got mine at Bestbuy. I saw these to PNY 16GB Class 10 cards and I asked the Rep to give me a price check on them and he kept scanning and scanning the the cards looking funny at it. When he called over another Bestbuy employee over to talk about the problem she told him they have been ringing up all day as 8GB card and they had to sell it to me at the 25.99 price point instead of the 52.99 one............I said I'll take 2 please......LOL. I was so lucky.

Wow! Nice luck:)

CM 7.0.3.1 is not recognizing my specific ringtone. I have ringtone 1 set in sound | ringtone. I have ringtone 2 set for user 1. When user 1 calls, I get ringtone 1. I am using dialer one app. Is there a setting I am missing?

I am having a strange issue with the volume control display on both Nightly 65 and 66. The text stating which volume I am controlling is either very small (just looks like a line) or not there at all. The size of the volume icon also seems to be a bit off as well. Each flash had the cache/dalvik cache wiped x3.

Is anyone else seeing this issue?

I have the same issue. Not a deal breaker though.

I agree. I think that it is amazing that such a small issue is the biggest one that I have had since doing the GPS fix a while back. I am impressed with the stability of the nightlies on my device.

Same here, all I see is a tiny line

Just installed CM 7.0.3.1 on my wife's Evo last night. So far every thing works well except GPS won't lock. I'm going to try the GPS fix later. I had to do it on my phone a while back and it's worked ever since.

I can't get all the apps I have installed to show up in my apps in the app store so i don't know when I have an update for some of them. Can someone help?

not all apps are released for 2.3. Some apps will not show up in the app store for you until their developer updates their release information.

In the meantime the only thing you can do is flash back to an older ROM, update the apps, then backup in Ti b/u, flash back to CM7, and update from the Ti b/u you made.
