Did you check to make sure your auto rotate isn't disabled?

Thanks that was it must have shut off on one of my flashes.nevet thought of that

just took a picture and noticed that it didn't fill the screen in landscape like it usually does. checked the settings in the camera app and the highest resolution is "3m". i knew cm7 didn't yet support 720p recording but thought the camera was still 8m. searched but didn't find anything on this, any help?

You should also see 4m (wide), 5m, 6m (wide),& 8m. I'm on nightly #62

no dice. just remembered that i flashed the new gapps with gtalk video chat. when i did that it replaced my camera icon, so i'm restoring a backup pre video chat to see if that has anything to do with it.

Which release were you running?

Nightly #62 uses the new gapps that has the video chat and mine is all good.

Just curious, you didn't happen to flash the modified gapps for the 2.3.3 that had video chat?

restored a backup and now have 8m again. the gtalk video gapps must of replaced my camera for whatever reason. oh well, will just have to live without video chat for now. thanks for checking.

I've had the same problem with my camera.. couldn't figure it out! haha Guess it was the new GAPPS that came out that had video gchat that did it. Flashing 73# right now, gonna see if i still have the problem after that, if so i'll re-flash the older gapps again and test it.

Edit: Flashing new nightly does nothing, flashed 20110307 gapps and its still broken. I was using 20110503 when i noticed it was broke. Not sure what to do now??

P.S. Ever since changing my gapps.. my gmail has been intermittently working, if i hit refresh, it just flashes the refresh icon. If i scroll down the message list and it says at the bottom No Connection.

mms fix from the CM7 forum...I don't take credit just reposting. I can confirm it works after flashing 73

"After taking a look, the gingerbread-stable version of PduParser.java in framework.jar seems to work fine for receiving mms. I recompiled framework.jar with the changes. Here is zip that should work with #73 (you can flash or unzip and adb push). I have only tested with pictures, but it is working for me. We will probably have to see how this effects other models/carriers before any changes to the new gingerbread version are made. "

I'm on 70. Should I flash it? Or it wouldn't work for sure?

what are the major benefits of cyanogen vs the stock rooted firmware on the Evo4G? I finally got my phone flashed with cyanogen but it wasn't as intuitive and clean as the stock firmware so I just flashed it back to the default. Maybe its just that I got used to the stock firmware? As far as UI, it seems almost identical to Sense UI.

Anyone else try this out? If so has it been working fine?
