[Official] CyanogenMod 7 discussion

back up your text messages if you want. clear everything just like you did when you flashed the sprint lovers rom. flashed the cm7 rom then flash the gaps reboot download titanium back up, restore your apps and enjoy.

How long should it take to reboot after I flash CM7 and the gaaps? Its been several minutes and I'm starting to worry. Should I do a battery pull?

If it's been more than 6 or 7 minutes, pull the battery. Happens here on occasion as well when flashing a new rom. Pull battery and restart. It'll probably boot right up for you.

Love what I'm seeing as I play around with this! One quick question. Are there more themes available besides the 3 that come with the ROM? I'd love this more in red!

Also check out the screen shot thread (stickied) in the main Evo forum. There are some really slick layouts there.

Anyone know where to look to find the font for the clock on the lockscreen?

I found a flashable zip to change just the clock font on the lockscreen but I want to change it myself. Wanting to learn more where everything is instead of relying on a flashable zip to do things.

EDIT: Ok I found it. Its in the system/fonts called Clockopia.ttf. That is what I missed.

Sorry to hear that but I'm on #83 and havent seen that problem. Maybe try reinstalling it first and see if that help or just go back to #80 if all else fails.

I installed the stable version and realized the voicemail app didn't install. I set up Google Voice to be the voicemail number, but I'm not sure if it worked. It says it has a VM number set up, but when I called the number that Voice told me to, all it did was beep at me. Any way to check and see if my voicemail works before I miss an important one?

Use someone else's phone to call yourself.

I think you can always call your own number from your phone for old-school voicemail. Not exactly sure how gv integration works with that, but I'd imagine it's the same. If someone calls and you don't answer, just call your voicemail and see if they left a message.

Or, if using gv for everything, log into voice.google.com on a browser to see voicemails.

Ok some I'm running cm7.0.3.1 with launcher pro, and all my downloaded apps moved to my SD. Ok so I reboot my device daily usually when.I get up in the morning. Sometime it reboots normal then there are times that I get stuck in a weird boot loop. Its not like a normal boot loop where the blue android shows up and the arrow going around it, then the android comes back. This just.pops.up and the arrow just circles the android and I have let it sat for 20 mins before battery pulling. I have rebooted into recovery and tried to format the data and cache and still nothing. Just hit up a back up and I'm.good to go. I'm just tired of having to restore the back up if I turn my phone off.

Any ideas?
