I know we are supposed to get official CM support, as noted on Gannon's first blog. I saw in CM's 7.2 RC-1 post on the homepage that they have a build for the Optimus One. So here's the stupid question- would this build work on the V, or not? :o

Alrighty. Do you know when our phone is supposed to get support, or did CM just say something like "soon"?

It's just one of those processes that takes time. I wouldn't worry myself about, either it will happen, or it won't, but it's out of your hands unless you're a dev, and can contribute to the process. I'm sure that those involved will make it very clear to us when it occurs.

It wouldn't really be necessary, but with the CM infrastructure it would help to off load the builds from the devs. Also may get CM devs to help. In all honesty, IHO has most of the "hard work" (a.k.a radios kernel drivers etc.) for use as a daily driver. Official support would be great, nut the OptV dev community is amazing - better then that of some superphones on traditional carriers

More roms, more fun. You should see the HD2's rom selection. It just goes on, and on, and on, and on, and on,....... yeah.... :D

There is still no guarantee we will be included in CM. We are working towards it, but as stated it takes time.
