Official Facebook not Syncing thread

Mine was working since day one till i did a hard reset last night.

I have the same issue no contact sync. This all started with friend stream not updating.

Yeah mine did as well... Now it works but no contacts...

Sync issue after Factory Reset

I just did a factory reset and now my facebook contacts will not show up it says connection error or now friends.

I just did a factory reset and now I lost all facebook related stuff through my accounts sync, no calender and contacts at all. WTF is this all about?

could this issue also explain why I keep getting error messages when trying to get facebook contact pics? I keep seeing that the service isn't available (and hasn't been for the last 2 days).

It won't even let me set up fb. Says "Warning The service is currently unavailable. Do you want to try again?"

^that is the same error that I'm referring too. Very annoying since I can't have my FB pics sync'd

i signed out of FB HTC then signed back in to sync new contact pics but getting a connection error. it wont show any FB friends on contact list now. wow this an annoying error. i hope HTC fixes this issue.

I hope this gets fixed soon, I also lost my Facebook calendar sync. I just removed my Facebook sync account for now.

no fix coming soon if they dont know the problem. hope they do get it fix. why wont they just revert to the original previews htc facebook sense in the mean time and build of that

I wish updating was just an issue for me...I did a factory reset like suggested and re ran the initial SETUP and when I try to sync my account I get an error sign that says..." this service is unavailable, try again?"....and of course Sprint couldn't offer me any help with that...so I'm left to manually input contacts???, yep...

Nope. not on rooted evos either. only froyo roms

this has been going on for about a month now, and im worried this might not get fixed till they get froyo out. so im hoping the aug 5 rumor for froyo is true.
