Thanks for the info. Was there a reason you had to call or was this some glitch in their system? I'm on hold now, and if it's just that they aren't shipping until 4/3 then I don't want to wait on the phone. I don't mind them shipping it later, I just want to make sure there isn't really any additional information needed, though I don't know what they need.

They had a notification saying I needed to call in and verify my identity. First time I've done that. The order status says ships today but the lady said they are all backordered. If that's the case I'll cancel and go with att. $20 cheaper off contract and free shipping $30 off. Anddd they are shipping today. Ya I have an 11 X MR. Its great but a very quirky car. I'm considering a new 15' wrx actually.

Yeah, I just went through the whole verification process. I've never had that happen either but, I'm glad they're doing it, if there is a chance of fraud. I'm trying to decide if I want to cancel or not. The young rep said that the phone promotion wasn't supposed to be until tomorrow and that the phones are backordered. She said that it will ship Friday. I really want the Dev version without all the At&t stuff on it.

Picked mine up at Verizon today at 1pm. I got there about 12:56 and they actually made me wait until 1pm to sell the phone.. weird... at 1pm the guy opened a drawer and there was about 20 grey and 20 silver models. The silver didn't seem to have the brushed texture pattern like the gun metal grey. So, I got the grey... the phone is absolutely amazing in every detail. The weight is lighter than the original One and the screen and sound are amazing. I think it's the best phone ever!

Just stopped by the Verizon store to play with the M8. Very impressed. The Ufocus feature on the phone is cool. They also had a dot case. It was pretty neat but not sure I would spring for it at $50.
