Official Gingerbread for the Captivate?

I flashed the 2.3.3 leak and its great, other then I can no longer accept phone calls, I can call people, but they can't call me

KH3 (2.3.4) is a way better stock base than the 2.3.3 leak you're running. There's also rooted kernels available for it.

I updated to 2.3.3 through kies yesterday, everything seems fine and phone runs smoother, except I no longer recieve my data signal, wifi is ok. Anyone has this problem??

Problem sloved by doing a hard reset on phone.

I had live chat with the samsung people two days ago..she said gingerbread is planned for the captivate but no release dates have been set.

I am very surprised Rogers did that 2.3.3. They are just going to have to do it again for 2.3.5 at least, let alone 2.3.7. I do not see ATT doing this more than once, with all the problems it can cause. With three drops so far in October alone on the 2.3.5 builds, they are clearly cooking it up, and it will probably be 2.3.5 for us on ATT.

Good point. There are quite a few bugs in 2.3.3.
