Went to to order the p8p and watch 2 google store does not allow me to select the black watch, are they out of stock already? Also can we change out bands on the watch?

Same thing happened to me too. I was wondering if the Watch bands can be used on Watch 2.

Best Buy is offering $550 for a good, clean P7P. I would have gone for this, except I want the Pixel Watch 2!

They're offering the watch for free as well with pre-order.

I believe they can be, yes. Somewhere along this week's journey I heard that the band attachment interface was the same.

Doubt I will get a shipped notice, but automagically have a ready for pickup notice on Thursday since I did pickup at the Chelsea NYC Google Store. I'm wishing they'd open an hour early so I can pick it up on the way to work rather than on the way home!

Oh yes ma'am! I'm like a little kid when it comes to new phone time. Refreshing like crazy. Of course I committed a cardinal sin this time - I ordered a new laptop and a new phone in the same week. The next two weeks are going to be utter Geeksville here!
