Official Sprint EVO 4G Gingerbread update

I thought Sense 3.0 is for the EVO 3D and Sense 2.0 was the Thunderbolt??? Anyways, what I read is that EVO 4G (OG) is getting gingerbread and some "aspects" of the new Sense but not a full upgrade to Sense 2.0 or 3.0.

That make sense. My point is that you should keep a feature gap in there so that there is still some incentive to move to the new product and not stay with your old product. At the same time, keeping customers that choose to stay with the old product happy by showing continued support and by adding some new features and functionality. None of this really matters if you have root, as you can choose from just about any combination of Android/Sense combos that exist today.

Another in the "for what it's worth department..."

After a tech call with Sprint, a supervisor came on the line and asked if my issue was resolved. I said it was and then asked him when the EVO 4G would get Gingerbread. He said it's not available right now. But it should start rolling out in 2-3 weeks.

That would be nice, wouldn't it?
