@ohbreeeezy, I'm not seeing anything about Sprint in the link I put up. The fine print seems to state, you go to a participating retailer (is this where Sprint comes in?), they will accept the phone (must be worth $10 or more) and give you $$ for it. You submit your Claims form, Samsung sends you a check for $200 minus what the participating retailer gave you?

I asked them the same thing - no mention of sprint on the webpage. They told me to hold (assuming they asked someone), came back and confirmed it's only valid ("at this time" they repeated) for phones purchased through Sprint.

So I got an email from Verizon the day after the IPhone was annouced that I can upgrade early (I'm only 1 year into my 2 -year contract).I'm not currently on EDGE, but I assume the new offer would be to move to edge. The offer ends 9/30. Think I can still get in on this deal if I pre-order before 9/30, even though the phone doesn't come out until Oct? Otherwise I would need to buy this at full price, which I really dont want to do.

I did an online chat with Samsung. They said that (at this time) the promotion is only for phones purchased through Sprint (bummer, I'm on Verizon).

I don't see this anywhere on the restrictions or promo page so... I am not really confident on this information.

We will have to wait and see but usually that's something they have to put on the restrictions at the bottom of the page. Especially since they're telling people about it now with the announcement of the pre-orders. They would be causing issues making people belive they could trade their phones in if they pre-order.. But didn't mention that it was Sprint only.

Yeah that really needs to be showed in print as its a big stipulation that most won't know about. Also, who are the "participating retailers" they speak of?

It clearly says any carrier. I agree it would be problematic if they say only Sprint later

Galaxy Note 4 on Sprint.

If I recall correctly Sprint was the last carrier to announce the release date for the Note 3. Is it just me or Sprint behind the ball on announcements? Haha hopefully they get it sooner than the other 3.

Off contract price was not stated nor was the release date. They also did not cover the Edge so no work on when that will be available either.
