And Verizon says with a 2 year contract, it's $299.99. I don't know what that equals over 2 years.

Weirdest thing, on my computer they only showed the white one. I hopped on my phone and they only showed the black one. Refreshed both browsers and still the same thing. So I just ordered the black one from my phone.

Nice. Glad you got what you wanted. I actually ordered the white, but was wondering why there was no black or gold (just read the previous post the gold would not be out at launch). I asked a chat rep about the colors and date. She said "if you want to change to black, I will give you a phone number". I replied with a no, but thanks. As for the 10/23 date. I ordered the unit at 2:35 EDT, and she said, orders started coming in 40 minutes before that? Weird.

I have multiple lines and buy multiple phones a year. My next upgrade wasn't until November so I'll probably buy another one then or maybe the Note Edge.

The ATT pre-order went live, and interestingly, right now it says "will ship October 14th." It's $299 with contract. $825 full price. Samsung Galaxy Note 4

Is there any word on the availability on Amazon? I'm interested specifically in the Verizon version. I have to pay full retail (unlimited data plan) and have a gift card to Amazon.

Att pre-orders say shipped by 10/14

Has anyone noticed that Att pre-order ship by date on their website says 10/14? Tought every carrier was releasing it on 10/17. I'm on Verizon and a little jelly. They always seem to get the devices to their customer's first :-(

Yeah, I posted that in the preorder/release thread. Conversely, Verizon's listing their date as later - 10/23 - but they often do that when they get a lot of orders and then ship on time anyway for many of the orders.

I just hope they don't do what they did to me with the g3 pre-order. Ordered within the first hr and order ended up being lost in the system. Took hours and days of stressful phone calls before it got taken care of. Was a very big mess.

With regard to the Galaxy Note 4 pre-order/trade-in promotion from Samsung, it says you get a maximum $190 rebate when you get a Galaxy Note 4 (pre-order) and trade-in a phone with minimum $10 trade-in value ($200 total). What if my smartphone has no trade-in value? Do I just get the maximum $190 credit?

Sadly I don't believe you will receive the promotional credit. From what I've been hearing your trade-in must be worth a minimum of 10 dollars.

I just pre-ordered two black (only option but what I wanted) Note 4's on Edge. The site was a bit wonky but I got it done. It would only let me order one at a time even though you could tick off each phone line you wanted to upgrade.

I was OK with the price: $700 or $35/month for 20 months less a $25/line reduction in service fees for Edge. Net each Note will cost ~$100 over two years: $700-(25*24) = $100. Not bad as high end phones go these days
