[Official] What to do after rooting 2.3.3? Click here!

Any apps that youve purchased, will be available to re download from the market. Simply open the market hit the menu button and hit my apps. They will all be there.

You do not restore data and apps from nandroid (aka the backup you did in your custom recovery) back ups. Nandroid backups are for if something goes wrong with your phone/rom/whatever, you simply restore the nandroid backup and viola, youre good to go with a perfectly working backup of your phone.

Use titanium backup for app data you wish too keep. Its in the market, free and paid versions.

As for your contacts and stuff, it will automatically be synced and restored once you sign in to your google account, that is, unless you had it set to sync your contacts to the SD card only. but i doubt thats the case :p

thank you very much for that information. that's why i love coming here, always someone willing to help you.

I am on stocked rooted which is really doing good , the other day I worked all noting from 9am till 3 knuckles batttery was at 50% went home took a shower and went to my other job at 5 till 12 am( accidently left my charger at the house) and about 9 pm the battery was at 10% I left my phone alone till I got home at 12 am and it was still at 10% when I put on the charger . Now I think that was pretty sang good when I was using it modertly all day . So I think imma stick to stock root for right now till I can find a Rom that will be at 50% when I use it all day no charging at all .

Try wiping your battery stats in recovery, then using the phone down to shut off and recharge fully.

So....I did it!! :D I am a NOVICE when it comes to rooting/roms ect. but I followed the steps for the revolutionary root and completed it sucessfully. Now, I am running Cyanogenmod 7.0.2

I love it. I used TB to backup all of my stuff and used Rom Manager to do the rom end of it. I havent noticed any problems yet, but if I do, I'll come back and report.

I want to thank EVERYONE on this forum for sharing your knowledge on this area and being such great people to help someone who is a noob in the root/rom arena!! :D
