I don't come here that often, but that Panda guy is recommending on twitter that people "rent" a Rezound while they wait since the return date extension. Doesn't sound promising.

Last thought. Every potential nexus buyer should go by a Rezound.. Use it for 13 days and then exchange it. May as well enjoy the wait

I'm hoping it is this Friday, but anyone else think it was odd panda said 13 days when the return window pushes us to Jan 6??? Nov 28th or so showing up...

He also wasn't aware of the return extension period, so don't read too much into the "13 day" tweet. He was still under the impression that it was a 14 day return window still.

He didn't know about the extension, hence saying 13 days. Personally, with all of this nonsense, I may pick up a Rezound this weekend and live with it until the Nexus comes out. (and then decide whether I want the Nexus at all)

I wouldn't read too much into that. Think he was basing that on the standard 14 day return period and didn't realize until right after that verizon had extended it.

Everyone on here should run out and buy a Razr and then return it when the GN comes out. This way, Verizon will be stuck with all these used phones....which will be a loss for them. We should all tweet this plan to Verizon so they know what will happen if they don't release this phone soon. I'm giving Verizon till Monday and if there is no word this is exactly what I'm going to do.

It is launching internationally on the 17th. So unless he added 'on Verizon', it doesn't mean anything.

Everyone on here should run out and buy a Razr and then return it when the GN comes out. This way, Verizon will be stuck with all these used phones....which will be a loss for them. We should all tweet this plan to Verizon so they know what will happen if they don't release this phone soon. I'm giving Verizon till Monday and if there is no word this is exactly what I'm going to do.

When people do stuff like this, all VZW is going to do is find a way to pass on the costs to their customers. I hope people realizing abusing the system en masse won't hurt Verizon in the long run...it will just end up with us seeing higher prices as a result.

Most people realize this. Personally, the Rezound was a close second to the nexus, so I'm going to get it because of that. If the nexus comes out sooner rather than later, I can decide then. If it turns out I don't like the nexus, I'll still have a great handset.

It is also probably part of the reason for their policy of only allowing 14 days to return an item. (yes, I'm aware of their special that begins on the 15th.)
