Ok long story short I switched to At&t so my Nexus 6p and Lg Urbane lte could use the numbersync option. Only problem is that At&t says it doesn't support HD Voice. I told nexus had all the necessary features to allow it to work. At&t won't enable it from the back end of the system because I didn't get it from them. Is it possible to get the numbersync option to work or should I chunk a perfectly good smartphone.

Switch to Verizon, they support VoLTE on the 6P. AT&T's lack of support for HD Voice was the reason I switched from AT&T to Verizon.

Unfortunately it's not going to work. I came to this sad realization yesterday when I did research on how my pre-ordered Gear S3 Frontier would sync with my Nexus 6p's phone #. I found out it HAS to be a HD Voice enabled phone sold from AT&T. The hilarious thing is, we have a brand new, LG V20 purchased from AT&T and it doesn't even support it. This is the ONLY thing I hate about at&t.

Ok thanks folks I appreciate your responses it's unfortunate that I won't be able to fully utilize the features of my Urbane but I'm not going to get another phone for a while.

Yea, I'm about to cancel my pre-order of my Gear S3 Frontier because of this. It makes no sense for AT&T not to support it.
