Hi. I have a galaxy tab 3 7.0 inch running 4.1.2. Is it a good idea to upgrade the OS (think it goes up to 4.4)? I'm worried it may affect performance negatively. I know that 4.3 included trim support which should improve performance but thought I'd check here to see if anyone has any experience with it.

Thanks in advance.

Welcome back! What's the exact model number for that tablet? Are you certain it has an official 4.4 firmware? I ask because 3G or 4G-capable tablets often don't get updated as high as their wi-fi only counterparts, mainly because the 3G/4G devices are attached to a carrier (which means slower and sometimes fewer updates).

Thanks for confirming.

Anyone else with any info as to whether or not it's a good idea?

Sorry for the bump.
