On leaked 2.1 v1, need advice from v2/v3 users

My wife's Eris is stuck with the 2.1 v1 leaked rom I loaded, so no OTA update for her.

My question to all that have loaded the v2 and v3 leaks is for functionality, especially the no audio on call/receive, are the v2 or v3 leaks better than v1? From what I've been reading, the no audio on call/receive is still a problem on the v3 leak as well (and in the "official" OTA); however, in your opinion, should I load the v3 leak on her Eris? Does the v3 leak take care of some of the other problems she is having using the v1 leak?

I'm seriously considering loading the v3 leak on her Eris, butI don't want to create more problems than she already has using the v1 leak. So far, she has the no more than 50% signal indicated bug, has had no audio when making/receiving calls, and a few instances of freezing/unresponsiveness.

I'm hoping that HTC/Google/Verizon acknowledges all the problems and that an update/patch that can be applied to ALL Eris phones (leak users as well) is issued soon.

V3 is the exact same as the ota from my understanding. My problems are lag, my phone has a lot of that especially when trying to pick up a call or make one.

Have you had any problems with audio where either you or the caller can't hear each other when making/answering a call?

I'm on V3. Only issue I've had and it's very very random, is the audio bug. Other than that, I'm very happy with the performance compared to the V1 and V2 leaks.

After installing the V3 leak, I immediately did a phone reset to make sure everything was clean. Still runs good.

As with any leak update or even OTA... make sure you to do a factory reset...

I went from V1, V2, then V3... I had less issues with V3. And as stated countless times V3 is 99% equal to OTA with the exception of the HBOOT which is why we can't root V3 just yet.... (I may be off by one word)

Thanks all, I updated her Eris to v3 last night. We'll see how it goes...
