On my Sony Xperia Z3, why is my gmail delayed?

Sony Xperia Z3 Gmail is delayed

Hi everyone !

i received my z3 friday and everything seems ok except my Gmail and yahoo notification has a delay are you guys using the gmail app or the one came with the phone mail app, i cant seems to find the way to make the notification sound volume louder very annoying any help would be appreciated ! .


Also i got i magnetic charging adapter from ebay and that thing is not really secure i mean you need to lay the phone down on a flat surface and hook the adapter up to it carefully i got a generic one not the sony brand is the sony made has a better more secure connection or is the same? there is no way i can make phone calls while its charging .

When i open the camera app i got a error message that a other app is using the camera and i cant find what is causing this since i have only like 4 apps installed.

otherwise everything seems nice camera takes better picture than my 2013 moto x for sure,battery last a long time .

I can say without a doubt the genuine Sony magnets on the oem chargers are far more stronger than generic chargers. I had both thinking that it won't make difference? Also, more importantly the oem chargers charged my z1s a lot faster and according to my battery widget the oem delivered almost double the mah change rate than the generic ones. You can get them on eBay for about 10-15 dollars.

Not all aftermarket products are bad. Some are even better than OEM Sony. Look at the reviews on Amazon on the OEM Sony docks for the Z3.

The magnetic charger by its very nature (you aren't plugging a cable in) is not as secure as the USB. Mine is also quite loose but I only charge it at night while I'm sleeping (since the battery life is superb). There are a few settings in stamina mode that could slow down your email as well as what push notifications you have set up. As for the camera error try resetting app preferences in the app part of settings.

Hi everyone !

The Camera error is a Known Bug with the Camera App and Google Now's OK Google, by default it comes activated to use OK Google in any screen, if you turn it off or at least change the OK Google voice command to work just when in the Google Now App, like I have it set, it works without issues.

Where can you buy an OEM magnetic connection charger? I can't find an OEM cable or adapter.
