On old CWM, want new ACS recovery...

Can just flash .zip from chris41g's site? Or do I need to do anything else special since I'm on such an old CWM version?

I'm currently running:
SRF 1.2/EC05 genocide kernel
CWM 3.1.0.1 (purple)
EXT-4 (journaling on)

Eventually, of course, want to go to an official GB-based ROM. Anyone know what's up with the ACS ICS? It appears that no longer dev?

Any words on SRF 1.3? Haven't found a ROM i liked better than SRF to date, and would love to keep supporting those guys.
