Just wanted to direct my fellow Note 3 owners (And all Samsung owners actually) to this cool little device I picked up the other day from Meritline.com for under $4.00 It's called a USB OTG connection kit and it transforms my Note 3 into a real workhorse. In layman's terms, it converts your micro USB connection into a fully functioning USB port. I've tested the following with success, an HP USB mouse, an HP USB Keyboard, a few USB thumbdrives, and most impressively, a barcode scanner. The last item would make taking inventory via a barcode scanner a breeze. Instead of lugging around a laptop and the barcode scanner to perform inventory, you could walk around with your Note 3 and an Office Excel spreadsheet all day (Microsoft is offering Office free in the Play store, last I checked btw). Below is a link to purchasing the item and for under $3.00, I'd definitely recommend it.

That's a great find! I looked for it on eBay and Amazon hoping for a USA shipper but they're all in China. Bummer. But I'll still get one. :p

Thanks Madd54!

OTG cables and plugs are a great feature. Being able to plug in flash drives is a handy thing to have. Especially when you have to transfer a bigger or multiple files.

Great find.
That site is showing ?1.88 to the UK! It looks to fit solidly against the case bottom.
It would be ideal for a real Barcode scanner on a cable. The barcode apps are a PITA to use with the camera and screen.

I also liked the SD adapter for $7 that sits inside so you could save up to 35-40? for a SD version of the 128 micro sd card.

She will explain better, but I was telling I ordered 2 separate cheap wifi aerial accessories from China on eBay as they were less than half the price of a local supplier. I just regretted it as it took so long (to UK). As if they were sent by bicycle. Otherwise good service.
Hence the obscure reference. (... and I stalk msndrstood everywhere LOL) :)

Just wanted to give an update on the one I ordered off ebay. It arrived tonight and my husband and I tried it in both our note 3s and also his tablet (note 8).

Works perfectly :-) we installed the app astro file manager - which my husband had used before on his old phone - which made moving photos/videos/mp3s back and forth easy.

Now my husband wants one of his own, ha.

Not bad for $2.03 :-)

Sarks.
