One month later...how do you like you GS2 ?

Absolutely no buyer's remorse for me with this phone. I have no problem recommending this phone to anyone, in fact, anyone who sees me with it has been impressed.

In my opinion, it is the best Android phone on the market; hands down.

We all know that something better is coming on the horizon (there is always something better coming), but for now, this is my phone and I can only look forward to what Samsung has in store for the Galaxy S III.

It's been said that for as old as the evo 4g is it's still considered a top notch phone (which it is) and yes better things do come along that's just the nature of the beast but that's great news for us gs2 owners because a year from now our phone will still be top notch because of how great this phone is.

It's totally badass in every way. Things I can do with the ET that I couldn't do with the Evo:

Stream 720p mkv files from my media server
Last a whole day without recharging
1080p video/720p 30fps SMOOTH video
Take P&S quality photos
N64 emulation
Usable 4G (ie, don't make the phone stutter and doesn't destroy the battery)
Make clear calls in my NYC office

The only thing I miss from the Evo 4G is the kickstand. But I'll trade that for the 10mm thickness.

I love this phone! The slim design, the "lightness" of it, (lol) and the screen quality (and size) are amazing. The one thing I wish I could change is the volume of my alarms. They are just not loud enough no matter what I do!

Very happy with this phone. I was waiting for the nexus but I couldn't wait to upgrade anymore. The only thing that would get me to give it up is if the new nexus and ICS are really that much more amazing.
