One more day left in my iPhone 6s Plus return window and missing the S7......

And I am considering the S7 again. Crazy? Yes. But I have tried to switch since October to Android and the best phone by far was the S7. Tried the 6p. No. Tried the N5X. No. Tried the Note 5. Nice, but didn't get the S Pen thing. Tried the S7. Loved it, just missed iMessage and easy integration with my Mac and finally photo stream sharing with family, etc. Thinking about getting another and holding onto my iPhone just in case..... It's an illness. Or should I take the plunge, get through the transition discomfort and try Android for at least a year? I'll never shake Apple if I flip flop. Ugh.

I was all Android from day one. Switched to Apple last year and at first loved it. After a few month I started missing Android. Almost went to Nexus 5x and 6P. Finally made the jump with S7 which I mostly love. Finally quality hardware running Android. It's not perfect but it's pretty damn close. Now I wander how I ever lasted as long as I did with an iPhone (the hardware is solid, don't get me wrong - iOS is just way too underdeveloped).

I gotta say, i have been with smartphones for a long long time, since at least 2001, nokia 9500 communicator, which was the most badass in its time, then been iphone user since 2007. Since then, i have tried most andorid phone in the US, and galaxy s7 is the first one that has made me give my iphone, i am now fully switched over to s7.

I have been using iPhones since they were introduced in 2007. I finally decided to try Android with an S7. At this time, there is no replacement for iMessage. It is great, and turns out it is, for now, irreplaceable. Photostream is easily replaced with Google Photos, which works the same way but with 15gb free storage.

My wife is using my old iPhone 6 for now, and we do miss iMessage, we also miss Find My Friends for keeping up with one another. There are replacement apps on Android, but they all require y to keep the app running in the background. So there are compromises. But at this point, I wouldn't go back. I much prefer Android, and particularly the S7.

Well you could use google hangout messaging which works kind of like imessage

I had the same problem as you when the S3 came out and had the 4S at the time. I liked the features of the Samsung but was too scared to let go of my iPhone. I decided I needed to sell my iPhone and stick it out with the S3. Best decision I ever made. Since then I've had the S4, Note 3, Note 4 and now have the S7. You just need to get over that first hurdle and I promise you, you won't regret it! Good luck
