I really loved Samsung experience that my note 9 came with!!! This one ui is just goofy af. I'm selling my note 9 and getting a Pixel 3xl!!!!!!!!!!

Using a Note 9 and iPhone Xs Max I'm so used to full gestures. My Pixel 2XL UI is super annoying of part gestures and part on screen buttons. Yeah I could probably use a different launcher and whatever but I ain't got time for all that.

Hmm. I'm not the biggest fan of the One UI graphics. But all things considered, for me One UI is overall as good as, if not better than Oreo Note9.
You might regret your choice of ditching it for the Pixel, especially when further tweaks to One UI begin to surface.
But, you makes your choices and you takes your chances...

I updated my note 9 to one u a few weeks ago. Couple of days of adjustment and I'm loving it. There's a few bugs that are being worked on, a few things that were taken out in oreo, that I'd hoped would come back which didn't, but other than those few things I love the update. The controls, icons, speed, battery life, the gestures. All only took a bit to adjust to. Everything that you hate could probably be adjusted. Easy to do.

I love One UI especially the full screen gestures making it a full screen experience. Another awesome perk is the "Trash" for photos, we've all been there where you accidentally deleted a picture now it's saved in the Trash bin for 15 days. Another awesome feature of Pie is the rotate lock option which cuts down on accidental rotating you're screen.

yea, I'm completely satisfied with the one ui. there isnt anything on that update that was a deal breaker. if you dont like the icons, you can download new ones from the samsung store... nope, not leaving my Note 9 for a downgrade.

Bye ✌ enjoy whatever device you choose. The rest of us will continue enjoying our Note 9 with the One UI

Well, I wouldn't go that far.

Sorry, but Oreo is definitely the better of the two overall.

Those who dont like it dont have to like it the majority of people do. There will always be a change no matter what phone you choose to go with. If that manufacturer wants to change the software they can and they will. It's not that big of a deal as you and others make it out to be. You may not be happy with the drastic change but it still works as before, just a few changes that take time to get used to. You guys hating in the UI will not make others hate it too

I am very well aware of that and that is not my goal. It is, however, quite frustrating when you have something that works perfectly fine and then given something that doesn't work as well and told that you will like it and shut up.

I do my best to tolerate it, but occasionally I feel the need to express my frustrations and criticisms.

I admit that there are a few improvements, so I don't hate it completely.

The Note 9 is a beast of a phone to begin with. Add the One UI and in my opinion, you have the best of the best Andriod phones. I've had 3 iPhones and 3 Androids prior to my Note 9. Nothing compares to this phone running One UI.

Glad you like it. I still think that Experience is overall better than OneUI, but I don't have any choice about fixing it.

I've been considering using Odin to revert to Oreo. Is that possible?

I would think that it is probably one of the only ways to do so.

How is that different from normal rotation lock?
