True. That would have been a much worse outcome. I will continue to just tolerate it, but it is one of the drawbacks to the Note 10.

With so much options , from themes,launchers ,swift installer, and updates coming for more changes you gonna enjoy this phone in long run .

And I stopped using launchers when I started using my S7E. I got tired of never being able to get a complete theme going without a lot of hassle.

Swift installer , is like a theme but it changes your UI from notifications panel or apps , it's in the play store and you have to purchase it which is couple bucks but you can change alot of the design elements of the UI . I'm not sure if it's working good with pie at the moment but if you search in Note 9 threads recently user name @sweetypie31 may help you more

We don't even know what updates are coming. At least they finally made the rewards points useful again.

Without root? I will take a look, but I don't think that I want to get started on 3rd party themeing again. Nova launcher, the 3d launcher, never managed to make it look decent

At least I won't have to use the new finger print sensor for a while. Really not looking forward to going back to a front facing sensor again

I don't really have an issue with the Bixby button. They broke Bixby Home, but that's a different issue.

Until they make night mode work with themes, which should have been done to begin with, my phone might as well not have it.

Me too. I wish that they kept the iris scanner. It would have complimented the sensor without sacrificing security.

I was hoping that kept it also , or did 3d face I'd like apple's but they have other plans . It's just a face unlock which is easily spoofed.

We might think that's drawback , but other probably won't. Like 3 of your list is a drawback for me.

I know. I'm used to being in the minority. I am someone who still doesn't understand what the hype is over Tizen. I had an android wear watch, then a Gear S3 Frontier, and now a Ticwatch Pro. So happy to have real app support back

2. I always turn off the blinking LED in settings
3. I prefer a front facing scanner
4. OneUI is the best skin I've ever used.

But I'll be holding out until the Note 10 because I use the SPen a lot.

But I'll be holding out until the Note 10 because I use the SPen a lot.

That's nice. We will have to agree to disagree. I'm going to stick to the Note line, but hopefully they will make improvements by then.

Didn't know the LED is going. That's a real shame. I use Light Flow and it is so incredibly useful. I have different colours and different flash rates for different apps and notifications from different contacts. Missed calls, emails from different accounts.... all kinds of things. I would really miss it.

Totally agree... would be a major loss to me after all these years.

Exactly. Same here, except I use Light Manager Pro. I hope they come up with something by Note 10.
