Starting to think it's a myth - I don't think it's being sent to all unlocked, unbranded phones - nobody here in the UK has received it. :/

I read on XDA that UK Devices should have the update by Sunday. I have a UK Device here in the states on at&t.

I begin to think someone had too many mushrooms and mistaken 1.29 with 1.28 and the story went live on internet, now unstoppable.
Here is the version that is on my phone.
I have the international HSPA version and its plenty fast enough. Unless you happen to live in a LTE city (few and far between) you would be better off with the international version, other than the initial cost.
Except that the S4 in the USA version is better than the Tegra 3 in the international - except when playing Tegra-optimized games.
S4 AnTuTu - 6-7k
T3 AnTuTu - 10-12k
S4 only performs good on dual core tests only, when the test supports more - Tegra outperforms S4 in both CPU & GPU.
Real world performance - typical usage - does not really take advantage of the 4 cores. For most things, the S4 is faster. There are many benchmarks out there that show this.
The Tegra 3 isn't bad at all - it's just not as advanced on a core-by-core basis as the S4 (28nm vs 32nm, A9 vs A15).
& less than 12months ago, people said the same about dual core phones .... Not needed, no apps support it etc
Where are those single core phones now?
Most people will be on 18/24month contracts with these devices, & in less than 6 months - quad core devices will have true support, leaving the S4 wayyy behind.
... That might not be the case right this minute, but it's only a matter of time.
