Yup..... If the rumors are true, I want one. Buying a $900 to $1,000 phone is insane IMHO. $600 bucks or so is a fair deal compared to the high dollar phones for myself.

If the OP 7 has water resistance (does anyone know?), I'll be very tempted to buy it. I think that's the only thing that mw me to hesitate to buy it. I've grown accustomed to my Pixel 2's water resistance.

Morty, Past OnePlus phones have not has a rating as OnePlus has stated that the added cost of obtaining the rating would raise the cost of the device. Add to that the pop up camera, and I would expect that to hurt what water resistance it does have. That said at less then $600 I'm willing to take the chance, since I've never accidentally dunked one of my phones in water (Jinx).

You're right - I do remember them saying something about there likely not being an IP rating on the devices. I guess I'm just spoiled with my Pixel 2!

My Wife has a Pixel XL, it is a pretty solid phone. I think I'm going to get OP 7's for both of us. She will love that purple color. Unless the actual device fails to live up to the rumors.

Whoah I need that!!!! All of those colours look pretty cool! That's a pretty innovative and unique design - I can't remember another phone that has had a colour like that.

Well your getting more phone for $1000, better display, sound, camera, wireless charging and water proofing. Yes the OP is a great value, but there are legitimate reasons why other phones cost more.

You have a valid point. It costs more to manufacture IP ratings and so things like that will inevitably result in a higher priced product.
