Open Beta?

My OP3 should be here in about 2 weeks. Was reading how OP handles their beta system which is really cool. What im wondering is how hard is it to be a part of the open beta system? Does it require you to physically connect your phone to a PC? Can you just sign up and get OTA updates when they release them? Such a cool idea, apple really should take note.

Yea I saw that. But I dont see where it states the actual process of getting open beta installed. Am I missing it?
